All the lessons, worksheets, games, and materials are to empower the next generation of environmental stewards through hands-on activities that help youth understand the magic of compost. The focus is hands-on out-of-school time (OST) learning about compost; however, you don’t need a compost system to learn the fundamentals that make up this incredible process.
By the end of these sessions, youth will have gained the knowledge to take action in their own lives to reduce waste and understanding how diverting food waste from landfills enhances the quality of life for both people and the planet.
